Peace River Presbytery will be hosting This Call’s for You: Finding God’s Spark at Burnt Store, on Thursday, September 12, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Please fill out one form per person so that we have an accurate count for lunch and breakout groups. Please bring a check for $10 per person to be paid at registration. Check can be made to Peace River Presbytery.

Breakout group options:

Devotion in Motion – the Rev. Dr. Ruth Smalt

“Devotion in Motion” is an invitation to worship God with our whole bodies by combining music, dance, and exercise in an uninhibited and child-like giving of ourselves in physical praise and worship to God. It is a time of exercise, release, play, and prayer. In Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28).

Finding People Where They Are: Evangelism Ideas – the Rev. Alex Regets

Join us for a collaborative discussion of evangelism in the modern age as we talk about the importance of an outward focus, what used to work (and why it doesn’t anymore), the use of digital tools, and new ideas that we’d try if we knew they wouldn’t fail. And be prepared to share and celebrate what has been working in your church post-covid!

The Board of Pensions in 2025 – Clark Simmons

The Board of Pensions provides medical coverage for pastors, educators, and other staff in the PCUSA. Because of the high cost of health care in the country, coverage options have had to change for 2025 so that churches can continue to provide health coverage and pension for all pastors. Come hear from our regional representative, Clark Simmons, about the changes and get your questions answered before open enrollment begins.

Drum Circle Fun – the Rev. Terri Jo Crego

Drum circles provide an opportunity for community fun and learning. Come join Terri Jo Crego and others in playing and learning together. We will use the drums from Peace Presbyterian that they got with a Blessing Grant.
