Letter to the Presbytery – December 2024

by Alesia Sharpe

Dear Peace River Presbytery,

As some of you may know, I will be retiring from Peace River Presbytery at the end of December this year.

Looking back over the past 23 years, I am so grateful for the opportunity to had worked for you and with you. The memories and friendships that I’ve made over these years, will be cherished forever.  I have been so blessed to have worked with: 2 – General Presbyters, Graham and Melana, 3 – Stated Clerks, Craig, Clint and Randy, 6 – Treasurers, Jack, Jim, Adam, Alan, Fred, Charmaine, numerous Clerks of Session, and a magnitude of talented and gifted folks on committees. Also, with some of the best Staff members, Candy, Bob, Jane, Bill, Joan and Lori. It warms my heart sitting here writing this and thinking back over my memories. Fond memories that I will carry with me.  Thank you!

We have moved to Green Cove Springs, FL, which is up by Jacksonville and are settling into our new home.  My husband and I do not plan on letting grass grow under our feet in our retirement years…..we have some travel plans that include visiting family and friends across the United States.  We will also be active in the life of our church and our community.

I will truly miss each and every one of you and will remember Peace River Presbytery in my prayers.  May God continue to bless you in your ministry.

Going forward, please use the email address, inbox@peaceriverpresbytery.org or you can email Melana or Randy.  You can also find helpful information on our website at, www.peaceriverpresbytery.org.

With much Gratitude, Love and Hugs,

Alesia
