General Assembly took place with committees meeting via Zoom on June 25-27 and in-person plenaries on June 30 – July 4. The commissioners of Peace River Presbytery worshiped, prayed, read, and listened to discern the will of God for the PC(USA). Being a commissioner involves a great deal of reading, study, and prayer followed by long meetings and much discussion. Our commissioners served faithfully and well and we appreciate their work. You will hear more about the actions of the Assembly at the October meeting of presbytery set for October 19 at United Presbyterian Church in Bradenton.
